GRAPHIC DESIGN
The following pieces contain actual work commissioned by a third party. I used the tools with Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate, and Wix.com to complete these projects.
--------
Not all works were commissioned for pay, but all of them were requested* and can be confirmed by the client.
*With the exception of the FBLA Graphic Design Project and the Graphic Design Club Poster, which were both school related
FBLA Graphic Design Project
I competed in the Maryland Future Business Leaders of America competition, and I won first place in the Graphic Design event with this video presentation. This video project displays my advanced skills and knowledge in graphic design and marketing. Please watch and enjoy!
Wasabi Sushi Website
Wasabi Sushi is a local family-owned sushi bar located in The Mall in Columbia. I completely designed their website from scratch by:
-
digitizing their menu
-
adding contact information
-
updating their logo
-
making the site compatible on both computers and mobile phones
-
designing a customer-interactive gallery to encourage consumers to use the website and share photos
-
offering online ordering (currently disabled but still functioning if desired)
I did it on a complete volunteer basis, however, they did give me some free sushi as a thank-you!

The success and clarity of my design helped raise over $11,00 for my high school!

High School PTSA Flyer
The Mt. Hebron PTSA commissioned me to design their Back-To-School Flier. I condensed six pages of information onto a single sheet that was visually dynamic and eye-catching.
While the task was herculean, it was an opportunity to practice perseverance. It was challenging collaborating with the client to identify the critical information for the flier, but fortunately, I love a challenge!

Graphic Design Club Poster
I am the Founder and President of the first graphic design club in my school, where I work with other club officers to teach members graphic design skills.
While our organization was shut down due to COVID-19, this poster still shows the excellent typography, hierarchy, and color skills we taught our members.

Emerge Maryland Class of 2021 Portrait
My mother is a graduate of the Emerge Maryland Candidate Training Program, Class of 2021. This program trains women of diverse backgrounds to run for elected office.
Due to COVID-19, her class was forced to meet virtually, and it would have been the first time the organization could not have a class photo.
By collecting photos of the members, with the assistance of the Emerge Executive Director, I designed their class portrait!
